Seattle Counterbalance Forklift Training - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift refers to a forklift with a weight which counters the balance, enabling the weight of the load to be distributed equally across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are designed so the weight on the lift is counterbalanced by the weight behind the centre of gravity. The load is projected out from the front of the equipment so it is visible to the forklift driver. This particular kind of forklift truck should just be utilized on prepared surface or on stable, level ground.

Training is necessary for forklift drivers to understand the proper way to spread the load evenly across the arms of the forklift. Trainees would learn how to raise and lower the load vertically and how to tilt the forklift mast both forwards and backwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Trainees would know the RTITB standards needed for operating the forklift safely. Trainees will also know the types of attachments for the forklift arms.

Walkie Pallet Trucks
Walkie Pallet Truck is a counterbalance forklift suitable for getting into areas that are small and cramped. This lift is very maneuverable and can access virtually every tight spot.

Walkie Stackers
The Walkie Stacker is another forklift which varies somewhat form the Walkie Pallet truck when it comes to its lift height. This particular machine is designed to access tighter spaces and has extra lift capabilities for high stacking. Neither of the Walkie line of lifts could be ridden. The driver has to walk behind them.

Rider Pallet Trucks
The Rider Pallet Truck is designed so the operator can ride it. These riding lifts are perfect for dock unloading and loading.

Wave Work Assist Vehicle
The Wave Work Assist Vehicle is a counterbalance forklift meant to reach great heights of as much as 17 feet.
